Baylor Regents don't Vote on Sloan, Reaffirm 2012 Plan

Summary by Tom Magnuson

Baylor University regents took no vote on whether to remove President Robert Sloan.

They emerged from the meeting with Chairman Will Davis of Austin announcing the regents unanimously had reaffirmed their commitment to Baylor 2012.

As a result of Baylor 2012, recently such notable ID proponents as William Dembski and Francis Beckwith have been hired at Baylor.

Many faculty at Baylor believe that theology is not a knowledge tradition, and therefore is not a guide to rational inquiry. Dr. Sloan, and many others, think the opposite.
