No Relevance to the Origin of Life
Origins Research 10:1

Figure 2. Pool table analogy for origin of life reactions.
The thermodynamic problems for origin of life scenarios can be illustrated by a pool table with a hill. Through agitation the pool balls must overcome an energy barrier before collecting in the local potentail well. Furthermore, the agitation necessary to move the balls up the hill may also knock them out of the well once they are there. To complete the analogy for the origin of life, the pool balls must wind up in the local potential well in a very specific order.
